How many times have you seen
people reach for your newborn baby
without washing their hands? What
about those who light cigarettes in
front of your precious little ones
without questioning if it is an
acceptable practice for the parents?
Or has this ever happened to you?
You and your little one are out for a
stroll when someone approaches
your baby and says, “Oh my, she’s so
cute
” and then reaches and holds
your baby’s hand. Then five seconds
later, your baby puts her hand in her
mouth. Oh no!
Many parents may feel timid to say to family members or strangers,
Please wash your hands before you hold my baby,” in fear of appearing as an over-protective parent. For that reason, Wordsies™ was created!
These shirts will let the world know what’s acceptable to the parents
without them having to “insult” anyone!
As a mother of three, I’ve endured complete strangers approach my
babies and grab their hands or kiss their cheeks. Um, where did they just have their hands and lips? From those experiences, I’ve learned to say, “Please do not touch my baby – just look at him.” Now, parents can let the words on the shirts express their wishes.

          At first look, I
laughed at what the
shirts say because as a mom of
two young children, I always
wanted to say those words
to everyone! The shirts are a
great idea! Now, I don’t have
to say a word when strange
people insist on touching my
baby’s clean hands!
